Just Follow These 5 Steps:
1. Choose surface areas of your door and door frame, where you will install. Note: Do not install to a wall
2. Clean the surface areas, then let them dry thoroughly
3. Peel off the 3M adhesives. Stick the side with the removable pin to the door frame and the other to the door. Let it sit for 12 to 24 hours before using the latch
4. Adjust the strap according to your needs. Make sure it's wide enough for your cat but narrow enough to keep your dog or baby out
5. Hook the built-in peg to lock the strap in place
6. Install the door drop to the top or side of your door. This will prevent it from closing
